... Periwinkle Interiors is a small interior studio offering complete design services, with specialization in residential construction coaching. My own personal style is that of modern classics where clean, uncluttered neutral spaces are accented with small amounts of bright color. Natural materials and textures are almost always incorporated. I can adapt to a more traditional approach depending on my clients preferences. Favorite projects include (interior and exterior) materials and finish specifications for new construction and home remodeling jobs. I have worked with a custom home builder and kitchen cabinet company, and am familiar with all aspects of project management, including contractor relations. I am a fan of great architecture and good design, and work toward acheiving the correctness of scale, porportion, and balance in my own projects.

... I am best known for "attention to detail" and being able to do many types of interior design styles. I have experience in Traditional, Contemporary, Residential, Commercial, Nautical, Aviation, Event planning and many more types of design. All clients have very different tastes, styles and corporate images. I have a wide range of knowledge in many areas of design which allows me to be able to satisfy these clients. I enjoy keeping my hand in all of these areas. It continues to make it fun for me.

I especially enjoy new construction and renovation because I can be involved in the very beginning to ensure my client's needs are met.

I have won a regional ASID Award in retail store design.

I was selected as Honorable mention in a CWB Magazine design competetion for my Architectural Millwork and Furniture Designs that I created for a Corporate project.

I have been in Yachting magazine for an "internationally flavored" showboat I designed. My Nautical work has also been featured in Houseboat Magazine in which I wrote monthly articles "Interior Time".

I have been in several local television, magazines and local newspaper print features.

I was contacted last Fall by HGTV about the possibility of featuring one of my client's projects on one of their programs.
