For over 25 years, I have been designing, remodeling and furnishing existing homes and helping build new ones across the United States and Europe, specializing in creating custom Residential/Commercial environments, be they Traditional, Transitional, Contemporary or Eclectic, that match my clients’ every need. I am a Ivy League educated full service” mid/high end, Licensed, ASID (Allied Member) Interior Designer offering "hands on" Interior Design help as well as space planning, reflected ceiling/electrical plans, construction diagrams, furniture floor plans, and boards. I lived in Europe for 11 years- received my design training at the world renown Inchbald School of Design, London and my Antiques training at Sotheby's London. I was a licensed Antique appraiser for years. I specialize in and teach about English, French and Italian Antiques/design, "How to Spot Fakes", Aging in Place/ ADA Codes. I also specialize in New Construction homes/remodeling. I utilize knowledge gleaned from my MBA from NYU's Stern School to help you choose your fixtures and fittings such as plumbing fixtures/appliances/lighting granite/paint etc. and create accurate, clear excel spreadsheets schedules on a room by room basis to insure that the entire room coordinates well. I liaise with your builder if you are doing new construction - or act as the builder/remodeler and do a turn key project where I help you choose the fixtures and fittings and then install them. My MBA insures that I understand both the business aspect and the creative aspect of Interior Design and endeavor to keep within your budget. I believe in service and personal attention - and only take on a few clients at a time. I work on a hourly fee basis and give you a 20% discount off of retail for Design work and work on a Cost plus 20% basis on Remodeling.
