In this phase of the Project, Designer shall, as where appropriate, perform the following:
A. Determine Client’s design preferences and requirements.
B. Prepare conceptual drawings, color boards and other materials to generally illustrate Designer’s suggested interior design concepts, to include color schemes, interior finishes, wall coverings, ceiling treatments, lighting treatments and window treatments as may be required.
C. Prepare layout showing location of movable furniture and furnishings.
D. Prepare conceptual sketches or schematic plans for recommended cabinetwork, interior built-ins, and other interior decorative details as may be required.
Interior Installations
A. Upon Client’s approval of the Design Concepts, Designer will, as and where appropriate: Select and/ or specialty design required Interior Installations and all required items of movable furniture, furnishings light fixtures, hardware, fixtures and accessories.
B. Select and / or specify in coordination with Architect and/ or Builder all fixed items or materials such as cabinetry, fixtures, hardware and exterior elements as may be required.
C. Merchandise and interior installations specified and / or purchased by Designer will be submitted in the form of a written Proposal for approval by Client. Each Proposal will describe the item and its price to Client (F.O.B. point of origin.)
